Parque Nacional Los Alerces
[PT] O Parque Nacional Los Alerces, localizado a 50km da cidade de Esquel, sul da Argentina, foi uma bela surpresa durante a nossa viagem.
De fato, o parque é belo. Ele traz o nome de uma das mais antigas espécies de árvores do mundo, o alerce patagônico ou lahuán, e é nesta região onde a espécie está mais concentrada. Alguns indivíduos alcançam 3.000 anos, e estar ao lado de um ser vivo com 3.000 anos de idade nos faz pensar na duração da nossa própria existência.
Além dos alerces, o parque tem uma vegetação magnífica. Lindas florestas verdes dividem a paisagem com montanhas e lagos que parecem espelhos. As trilhas nos trazem gratas surpresas, margeiam rios verdes claros que descem as encostas com seu crescente barulho, e nos convidam a avistar imponentes geleiras já aos pés da cordilheira dos Andes.
O parque é bem fácil para visitar para quem está de carro. As principais atrações – trilhas, lagos, e rios – podem ser acessadas por uma única estrada que o corta. A estrada está em boas condições, embora parte esteja pavimentada e parte em rípio. De Esquel à entrada do parque, toda a rodovia está pavimentada.
É um excelente lugar para passear com crianças. Existem trilhas curtas que levam a belos lagos e rios, as quais as crianças podem percorrer sem dificuldades. Há áreas para piquenique, para correr e brincar, ou andar de bicicleta – tudo isso em meio ao verde e às montanhas.
Se estiver com crianças, dois dias para visitar o parque é suficiente para fazer alguns dos passeios com bastante calma e tranquilidade, e passar o dia brincando e apreciando o lugar.
Fomos no fim do verão, e os belos dias de sol nos ajudaram a fazer os passeios. No inverno, o parque fica coberto de neve, e a programação passa a ser bem diferente.
[EN] The Los Alerces National Park, located 50km from the city of Esquel, southern Argentina, was a beautiful surprise during our road trip.
In fact, the park is beautiful. It bears the name of one of the oldest species of trees in the world, the Patagonian larch or Lahuán, and it is in this region where the species is more concentrated. Some individuals reach 3,000 years, and being next to a 3,000-year-old living being makes us think about the duration of our own existence.
Besides the larches, the park has magnificent vegetation. Beautiful green forests share the landscape with mountains and lakes that look like mirrors. The trails bring us pleasant surprises, as they margin clear green rivers that descend the slopes with their growing noise, and invite us to see imposing glaciers at the foot of the Andes mountain range.
The park is very easy to visit by car. The main attractions – trails, lakes, and rivers – can be accessed by a single road that goes through the park. The road is in good condition, although part is paved and partly is dirt. From Esquel to the park entrance, the entire road is paved.
It is a great place to go for a walk with children. There are short trails that lead to beautiful lakes and rivers, which children can walk through without difficulty. There are picnic areas, places to play or to ride a bike – all in the midst of greenery and mountains.
If you are with children, two days to visit the park is enough to do some of the tours with ease, and spend the day playing and enjoying the place.
We went in late summer, and the beautiful sunny days helped us on the tours. In winter, the park is covered with snow, and the schedule becomes quite different.
